English Teacher Teaching Skill improvement
During the course, teachers will be arranged to listen to formal university lectures, seminars, visits, etc.
The tailor-made course arrangement will be discussed by the Language Center and the unversities/colleges.
Lots of Chinese universities and vocational colleges wish to enhance the practical and theoretical knowledge of their English teaching staff, including current practices and issues in the field of English Language Teaching with a particular focus on English for Academic Purposes in the Chinese context.
They also wished to familiarise participants with British Culture and the British way of life. Britannia Education and its partner university language centres create a 4 - 8-weeks course in which the teachers would engage in a structured classroom observation
the programme within the English Language Centre, Teacher Development workshops, workshops led by expert teacher trainers, guided library research, an enhanced social programme of visits and activities, as
well as cultural studies classes and cultural events and use of university facilities.
